Harpoon ipa leviathan6/1/2023 ![]() The cyclists raved about it so much that Harpoon decided to open the ride to the public. The next year, a few more elite riders joined in. The ride, about 130 miles, was supported by a brewery truck with water, tubes, tools, food and beverages. The ride started 11 years ago when about two dozen riders on Team Pyscho, a triathlon team supported by Harpoon Brewery, decided to make the trek to another brewery Harpoon had recently purchased in Windsor, Vt. Riders know the end is only a few miles away when they pass through a covered bridge in Cornish, N.H., and head into Windsor Vt. The last 50 miles are less challenging terrain, but the impact of more than 100 miles and plenty of hills can begin to take its toll. Plenty of farms, fields and scenic views highlight the route before Leviathan. The ride continues northwest then north along the Connecticut River. The first 50 miles are relatively flat, but the next 50 miles offer two big climbs and plenty of rolling hills.Ī six-mile climb toward Ashby takes riders to southern New Hampshire. Has it been that long? hktiri I'm waiting for a bar to start serving stemless coupes. The ride starts in the Seaport District at Boston Harbor, goes through the financial district (which is quiet and not congested on a Saturday morning), past the Boston Common, over the Charles River, through Cambridge and heads northwest. Andre and French bread with this beer would make for a great afternoon escape. ![]() ![]() I think pairing some soft cheese like Brie or St. Harpoons Saison Royale is simply sublime. The sweet bread a herbal, floral, and fruity flavors makes it complex, yet widely appealing beer. This disappeared from my glass quickly and I wish I had more. Following the fruit is more sweet malt and a crisp, peppery dry finish that lingers like a bite of sweetbread. There more of the fruity esters on the palate, notably lemon an banana with clove. There is the initial influx of lively carbonation that bites the palate then gives way to floral and breadlike, pale malt qualities. The taste is subtle but delicious and everything desired in a Saison. A delightful and bright aroma, that begs to be drank. Smells initially of the yeast with some strong esters coming through, then some sweet grain. It looks very bright, and promises sweet malt and a refreshing, crisp taste. The large head is expected from a Belgian style. Pours a golden straw color with a lively and dense white head that stays around for a while. This beer is a Saison style, but a little ramped up. This beer is one of my favorite beers I’ve had all summer, and according to my notes I’ve tried about 100 new beers this summer. With my cynicism out of the way, I love Harpoon’s beers, they make a really great IPA as part of their base product and they are pretty new to Louisiana so I gladly support them. High alcohol and limited production are part of the holy trinity of making a beer geek salivate (the third being a tie between barrel aging and adding more hops or malt than necessary for an ordinary beer). The Harpoon Brewery, based in Boston has the “Leviathan Series,” a line of limited edition big beers, with high alcoholic content.

Verizon wireless signal problems6/1/2023 ![]() Samsung moderator revealed that Image Clipper is being prepared for a number of Galaxy models including the Galaxy S22 and S21 series, and could rollout with April 2023 update. Previously, the Galaxy S22 and S21 series was tipped to get Image Clipper with April 2023 software update. Until last month, the feature was limited to the S23 series, but Samsung has shared it with select older Galaxy models. Image Clipper is a new One UI feature, which Samsung introduced with the Galaxy S23 series. But the report on Verizon’s 5G network performance in everyday situations gives us a very good idea. These two California cities are part of the carrier’s 5G UWB network. It is clear that Verizon has a lot to do with its high-speed 5G network. This is despite the significant difference between the download/upload speeds of 5G UWB Home and 4G LTE. The report states that Verizon’s denial that 4G LTE will serve as an alternative to the carrier’s 5G UWB home service. By comparison, 5G nationwide and 4G LTE networks only see a decrease in signal strength when devices are away from a small cell site. Importantly, the study found that 5G UWB could not be reconnected automatically after being downgraded or losing connectivity. It can be difficult for the public to unpack the technical fine print.” “Our research and analysis indicate that most Verizon mobile customers will end up falling back on the 4G LTE or 5G Nationwide networks, and any claim that 5G UWB is reliably available would be misleading. Furthermore, the researchers noted that many areas that promote Verizon 5G UWB are not connected to the network. This happens even if the device is pointed directly to the cell site. It is found that even the smallest movement reduced the 5G UWB network to the carrier’s 5G nationwide network. The researchers conducted the test using a 5G mmWave compatible smartphone. The team estimated download and upload speeds at 74 5G UWB small cell sites in two California cities. This report is based on an independent field study conducted by EJL Wireless Research. The research firm conducted the analysis in two California cities, San Diego and Chula Vista. According to the latest report published by EJL Wireless Research has several issues with Verizon’s 5G Ultra-Wideband (UWB) network. |
